Type of data processed

The video surveillance system allows the processing of images of natural persons passing through the spaces filmed by the cameras.

Purpose of the processing

The personal data of the data subjects, and specifically the recordings of the images, are collected and stored to: protect the property, the assets (tangible and intangible) of the Company and the assets kept at the operating unit; prevent vandalism and crimes of various kinds; facilitate and make the organisation of work more efficient. In general, to safeguard the company's business.

LEGAL BASIS

The processing is mainly necessary for the pursuit of the legitimate interest of the Company, pursuant to art. 6(1)(f). The protected interests are those set out in the previous paragraph.
The processing, even further, may also be necessary to comply with a legal obligation or an order of the authorities in the exercise of their powers, or for the exercise or defense of a right in court.

Image retention times

The detected images are recorded and stored for up to 5 days. At the end of the retention period, the recorded images are deleted from the relevant electronic, computer or magnetic media, in such a way as to make the deleted data not reusable, unless further storage is necessary to comply with a legal obligation or an order of the authorities in the exercise of their powers, or for the exercise or defense of a right in court.
